L’indice foliaire est obtenu par une mesure indirecte qui consiste à comptabiliser le nombre de feuilles (litière cumulée sur la période 2008-12, la durée de vie des feuilles étant de 4 ans) récoltées à l’aide d’une aiguille, utilisée perpendiculairement au sol, chaque mesure étant répétée 300 fois. Les mesures sont effectuées du 9 au 24 avril 2013 dans les rangs n°11, n°12, n°13 et n°14 sur la station d’étude. The leaf area index is obtained by an indirect measurement who consists in entering the number of leaves collected using a needle, used perpendicular to the soil surface each measurement being repeated 300 times (litter cumulated over period 2008-2012; the lifespan of the leaves being 4 years). Measurements were performed over a 16-day period (9 to 24 April 2013) in rows 11, 12, 13 and 14 of the study plot. By taking account of the area of the inter-rows (area occupied by a single tree being of 25.00 m2.tree−1), the LAI is of 4.24 (±1.399; N=300).
