Aims and scope
The journal Climatologie, created in 2004, publishes scientific articles that address original research in climatology, in the broadest sense of the term. The journal is funded by the International Association of Climatology (created in 1988). Articles are published in French or English.
In connection with the study of climate, the authors may address conceptual, technical or experimental topics, both on interactions related to observed and/or modelling climate variability, and on associated impact studies. Topics can for example study agronomy, forestry, remote sensing, air quality, water resources, geostatistical methods, measurement networks, risks, and this, without restriction of scales or study areas (temperate, tropical, polar, urban, oceanic, coastal, mountain, …). The disciplinary fields come from the geographic, atmospheric and biophysical sciences, as well as engineering and social sciences.
